Jerry D. Hart was elected to the Imperial Community College District Board of Trustees
for Area 3. He took office on December 12, 2007. His background is as follows:

- Master's degree in Education Specialist from Point Loma Nazarene College (1986)
- Retired school administrator and teacher with 32 years of experience
- California Community College Trustees (CCCT) Member since 2010
