Academic advising – Counselors will recommend classes for your major/pathway and provide a list of classes for the semester.
Student Educational Plans (CSEP) - Counselors will work with you to identify a personalized plan that includes all the classes and requirements (semester by semester) that you will need to transfer or graduate from IVC. There is also an abbreviated version of this plan (ASEP).
Transfer School Advising – Counselors are available to provide information on how to transfer to a university and walk you through the requirements and coursework needed to transfer.
Referrals – Counselors will also connect you to additional supportive programs and services on campus.
We encourage all students to stop by the Counseling Center to meet with their counselors for both in person and online appointments. Stop by in person any time Monday-Thursday (8:00AM-7:00PM) or Friday (8:00AM-5:00PM) as a walk-in to see a counselor or schedule an appointment.
